Fraud by Petrol Pumps in NCR

This is for the information of the General public, a incident that happened with me today (3rd May 2011) at MATTA Automobiles (Bharat Petroleum Dealer), Road No 56, Gazipur, Delhi 96.
I went at the petrol pump to refuel my car & asked the attendant to full my tank ( I am a regular customer of this outlet for past 4-5 years), the attendant started on the meter and one of the other attendants came to me and asked me to fill a lucky draw slip, the moment I started filling up the slip, the person who was fueling the tank of my car said that electricity has gone and reset the meter without showing the reading to me, he told me that petrol worth Rs 340 has been put in my tank till this time. After resetting the petrol worth 1800 Rs was put in the tank, so as per him total petrol worth 2140 Rs was put, which was not possible as my car fuel tank doesn't have this much of capacity( and around 6 liter petrol was already there), I told him this and finally he took 1900 Rs from me. I took the bill and the lucky draw slip which I had filled (which is not even valid as per the date given in the slip).

These things have become very common in NCR region, I would suggest all of you to take extra caution (Specially when paying by credit card) while visiting the petrol pumps.

Most important thing while paying by credit card is don't sign ( don't handover) the credit card till you have closed the fuel tank after it has been refueled.

Please spread the word!!!!!

Corruption:- Is media also involved?

2 weeks ago, a news Channel - CNN- IBN showed the news (Danke ki Chot par) about the mastermind behind the Adarsh Scam, that was the only time that program was aired and discussed on TV. Why so? I think the Channel has been threatened by senior politicians ( senior Goons) for not showing the news again as one of the senior leader of congress party was exposed in the news - Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh.

I am bit surprised by the attitude of media (particularly this Channel), Indian media which has the habit of showing a news item at least hundred times , just showed that particular news only once?

Does this show the nexus between the media and the politicians? If media doesn't have the courage to show and expose the culprits then why do they exist?

Corruption in India - The Road Ahead

Some points to think over

1) Why is government opposing the Lokpal Bill??? - If Netas feel that they are so honest then why are they afraid of agreeing to the condition of this bill ?? This clearly reflects that how honest they are?

2) This fight against corruption is clearly showing that we ( the people of India) have lost the faith in our leaders ( for me they are not the leaders / they are just bloody goons who have got the power by their luck), now this is the high time for Junta to recognize people who can represent them well - Will it happen?

3) Each individual including me has to take the onus of doing something that will help the country progress - Unless it happens country will never progress- Can we do it??

My Fellow countrymen, just keep few things in mind - This is my country and I have to make it better, I have to be honest and work in a direction where I can bring the glory to the nation--- Unless this is the feeling in each & every individual, we will always be ruled by group of Chor.

Today we are saying " Mera Neta Chor hai" & we believe in this---Can we change the complete process so that we are proud of the people who we elect??????

Wake up Indians

India has come a long way since independence so the people of India.

Has our mentality really changed over the years? Are we really independent in our thought, in our work?

Even after 62 years of independence, citizen of the country are not independent and are fighting with their fellow countrymen (I will call them the mockers). These mockers have been able to take the position of power and in a process have made the mockery of the democracy. These mockers are the corrupt people (dacoits) who consider their position of power as their birth right to misuse & play with the democracy of country.

We are the one still are slaves of the circumstances (or these people) created by these mockers. India is fighting against these goons now, but do we really have the power to fight with them? No is the answer, how do we get the power then?

The answer is, unite and support the people who have at least taken the steps to bring a law against corruption. This is the least we can do? Instead of cribbing and sitting back, participate in the process of democracy and make it more powerful.

Just remember only one thing, you and me can bring the change we seek, there is no one who will come to rescue of us when we need help. So help and participate in forming a process that will empower you and us. Raise you voice against corrupt and help in elimination of this evil.

India a new growth Story Once Again

The new government has taken the charge. One good thing with this government will be that they can continue from where they left before the elections. It will have good impact on the economy definitely. With the GDP growth of 6.7 % this year positive vibes have already come in the market and Indian Inc is betting big on next year's GDP growth at 9%.
Even I believe that growth this year ( 2009-10) will be much higher than the last year growth. Let's analyse why?
1) Last year the whole world was under recession which had a negative impact on India also, but the signs of recovery all around the world means good time ahead as compared to previous year.
2) Stable government at the centre means more authoritative style of work with focus on growth.
3) Fast track growth program, for example 100 days program of government should bring great confidence in Indian economy and if it happens it will be a first step in the direction to achieve 9% growth.
4) Opening up the economy for FDI should also result in more FII coming to the country, which should boost the Capital Markets.

Lets hope that everything goes according to what has been planned and I hope that India will be a big growth story again.

Election Results 2009

Now the Loksabha picture is very clear, Mr. Manmohan Singh will be the next Prime Minister 2nd time in a row, the second person to do so in the history of India after Pt. J.L Nehru.

Many Congratulations to each one who voted this time. It is our support only which will take this country to the new heights.

This time the results shows that the people of this country are getting matured. This time most of the regional parties who played a great role in the government last time have been rejected by the people. Most of these parties were like a game spoiler, blakmailing the government in the power most of the times. I am happy that these such parties will not be the part of new government.

These results bring us the hope of new era in the country, a hope that economy will imrove again, a hope that there will be fast track development now,a hope that there will be greater employment opportunities, a hope there will be reduction in the poverty, a hope there will be more focus on literacy and a hope that India will be a super power by 2020.

I wish the government in power a great success and great journey for next 5 years.

Jai Ho India!
